About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist with 6+ years of expertise in machine learning, deep learning, statistical analysis, and end-to-end data science solution development. The candidate should be comfortable working with structured and unstructured data, applying advanced analytical techniques, building machine learning and AI models and translating analytical findings into actionable business insights. The candidate should also have strong proficiency in Python or R, competent SQL skills, and familiarity with data experimentation and data engineering concepts.

What You'll Do
- * Work with business and technical stakeholders to formulate analytical and machine learning problems.
- * Perform exploratory data analysis, and statistical investigation.
- * Build, validate, and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, regression, clustering, anomaly detection, and recommendation use cases.
- * Apply statistical techniques for inferential analysis, causal analysis, experiment design and hypothesis testing.
- * Design and analyze experiments to measure business impact and validate model or product performance.
- * Prepare, clean, transform, and engineer features from structured and unstructured datasets.
- * Use Python or R to perform reproducible analysis and modelling.
- * Write SQL queries to extract, join, validate and analyze data from relational databases.
- * Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data availability, quality and suitability for modelling.
- * Collaborate with engineering and MLOps teams to support model deployment, monitoring, version control, retraining and production lifecycle management.
- * Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics, validation techniques and business acceptance criteria.
- * Monitor model performance, data drift, concept drift, and model degradation in production environments.
- * Interpret analytical results and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
- * Present insights, model outputs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- * Maintain documentation for datasets, models, experiments, assumptions, limitations, and analytical workflows.
- * Support continuous improvement of data science workflows, model governance, model monitoring, and MLOps best practices.
- * Expertise in NLP frameworks & LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and prompt engineering is a plus.
- * Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing, or large enterprises is a plus
Required Qualifications
- * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- * Strong hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
- * Experience with MLOps practices, including model deployment, model monitoring, versioning, retraining workflows and production model lifecycle management.
- * Strong understanding of experiment design, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis workflows.
- * Strong understanding of the full data lifecycle, including problem formulation, data auditing, analysis, interpretation, recommendation and presentation.
- * Experience with descriptive, exploratory and predictive analysis.
- * Competent SQL skills for querying, extracting, and analysing data.
- * Familiarity with data engineering concepts, data pipelines, and data preparation for analytical and machine learning use cases.
